Core Accountabilities:

  1. Review and supervise House Connection team and Contracts ensuring compliance with NWC standards and policies.
  2. Oversee HC issues in the Branch by O&M or Projects team, provide guidance & support.
  3. Provide information, reports and updates to BU Director, O&M Manager and Branch Manager.
  4. Support Branch team for any clarification or support and resolve issues.
  5. Capture learnings from incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  6. Support Committees for handover as required for HC Projects or transition to O&M Contractors.
  7. Support any technical, performance, contractual and other information related to house connections.
  8. Ensure that Customer issues related to New HC are identified and managed timely.
  9. Implement best practices in the management of all resources and contractors.
  10. Support branch team with cross-functional roles to meet work-load.
  11. Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met.
  12. Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members, setting goals and providing feedback. Teach and support the team to enhance their skills.
  13. Collaborate with other departments like projects, O&M, and customer service.
  14. Communicate with government agencies, contractors, and customers and resolve any issue.
  15. Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. Holder of Chartered Membership in relevant discipline is preferred.
  3. Minimum of 7 years of experience as Civil Engineer.
  4. Deep knowledge and experience in water and wastewater network construction.
  5. Knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and environment policies, procedures and regulations preferred.
  6. Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 is preferred.
