This individual will play a pivotal role in driving presales efforts, managing bids, and collaborating with sales, technical teams, and customers to design and present tailored Oracle ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep product knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional bid management skills to craft winning proposals, drive business growth, and build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design:
    • Work with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals, and translate these into tailored Oracle ERP solutions leveraging EBS and Fusion functionalities.
    • Deliver high-impact demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations showcasing Oracle ERP capabilities to address specific client requirements.
    • Create solution roadmaps and articulate technical and functional value propositions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Presales Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to define presales strategies, prioritize opportunities, and develop competitive positioning.
    • Proactively identify potential risks in solution delivery and address them during the presales process.
    • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring that responses align with client requirements and Oracle ERP's value proposition.
  • Bid Management:
    • Develop and manage end-to-end bid processes, including solution scoping, resource planning, and pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and organizational goals.
    • Define bid timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
    • Leverage lessons learned from previous bids to continuously improve the proposal development process.
    • Work with Oracle and other ecosystem partners to gather insights and create compelling joint proposals.
    • Act as the central point of contact for all bid-related activities, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across teams.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
    • Build strong relationships with Oracle strategy and services teams to stay informed about product roadmaps and align presales activities.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, delivery, and technical teams, to ensure alignment on bid strategies and solution proposals.
    • Foster trust with clients by addressing concerns, mitigating risks, and showcasing a clear path to success.
  • Internal Enablement & Thought Leadership:
    • Train internal teams on Oracle ERP solutions, bid management best practices, and effective client engagement strategies.
    • Develop reusable assets, including bid templates, pricing frameworks, demo scripts, and technical documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Oracle ERP solutions, with at least 7–10 years in presales, solution consulting, or bid management.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering successful bids for enterprise solutions, particularly in Oracle ERP.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle ERP Modules, including Financials, SCM, HCM, and EPM modules.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
