Job Objective To lead the company's legal function by providing strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance with Saudi laws and financial regulations, mitigating legal risks, and supporting business objectives through expert contract management, dispute resolution, and team leadership. Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the company’s overall legal strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia.
  2. Oversee the review and negotiation of complex customer agreements, strategic partnerships, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with Saudi local laws and industry regulations.
  3. Act as a key advisor on Saudi legal and regulatory developments, providing strategic guidance to executive management on potential impacts and compliance measures.
  4. Lead the resolution of significant legal disputes, including managing litigation and arbitration cases, and collaborating with external legal counsel when necessary.
  5. Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across all business functions, creating frameworks and strategies to mitigate potential exposures.
  6. Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership and various departments, particularly on matters related to financial regulations, contracts, and corporate governance.
  7. Establish and lead a high-performing legal team, including hiring, mentoring, and managing junior legal officers and other legal professionals.
  8. Ensure company-wide compliance with financial and corporate regulations, working closely with the Compliance and Risk Management teams.
  9. Foster strong relationships with external regulatory bodies, legal counsel, and industry organizations to represent the company’s legal interests effectively.
  10. Drive the development of internal legal policies, procedures, and frameworks to standardize legal operations and ensure best practices.
  11. Assist and coordinate with the Group Legal Department in aligning local legal activities with group requirements and facilitating cross-border legal arrangements.
Education Bachelor’s degree in business law from a reputable university. Master’s degree in law or relevant field preferred. Qualifications And Experience
  1. Licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia, with a strong understanding of Saudi local law and regulations.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in the legal field, with at least 3 years in a senior role within the financial sector.
  3. Strong ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering growth and ensuring effective collaboration.
  4. Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking skills to provide sound legal advice aligned with business goals.
  5. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills for handling high-level contracts and disputes.
  6. Expertise in Saudi financial regulations, corporate law, and compliance standards.
  7. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
  8. Ability to navigate high-pressure situations and provide clear solutions under tight deadlines.
