As a member of our sales leadership team, you will build and drive strategic sales teams to exceed company objectives while growing your Region according to plan. You will be responsible for building a high-performance sales culture that delivers results in bookings, sales development, and forecast accuracy while simultaneously mentoring and developing your team members to accomplish individual and organizational goals. It will be required that you track sales activity, provide sales projects, and create and analyze metrics. - In this key role you will manage and lead a team of Sales Directors driving major revenue streams, achieving and exceeding revenue targets, building pipeline, and developing new customers for the Middle Eastern North Africa (MENA) region.
- Develop a regional business plan with clear actions to exceed regional revenue targets and build well qualified pipeline.
- Work closely with Sales Engineering and Professional Services teams to build complete solution-based proposals.
- Deliver accurate, aggressive weekly sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Ensure District Sales Managers have well documented territory and account plans aligned with the value proposition and differentiated strengths of the company.
- Disciplined evaluation of District Sales Managers activities on target enterprises, including follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns as well as leveraging personal network/relationships.
- Assure District Sales Managers execute on leveraging alliances and relationships with key Partners in the region.
- Evangelize the Palo Alto Networks Enterprise Security Platform within End Users, SI, and partner communities and act as an ambassador for the company in the region.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple teams first line District Sales or Regional Sales Managers covering large enterprise customers in the Enterprise Security space.
- A passion for hiring great talent, and developing team members to their highest potential.
- Strong track record of over achievement against quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Demonstrable experience in high-tech enterprise sales working with leading high-tech companies with a record of over achievement.
- Demonstrate executive gravitas sufficient to engage, negotiate and win new relationships at CXO level in our targeted partner markets.
- Understanding of recent Cyber Security trends and key vendors in the industry.
- Proven track record in selling and positioning Enterprise Security at a senior business level.
- Excellent communications by phone or in person with high-level decision makers.
- Very strong presentation skills at the executive level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sales Automation Tools (Salesforce.com).
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to listen well, interpret needs, and speak in ways that engage and inspire others.
- Ability to speak and present to large business audiences at conferences and industry forums.
- Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel-centric go to market approach.
- Team player who is collaborative, enthusiastic, and trustworthy; one who knows how to partner with peers across the Sales team and the company.
- Proven ability to build and grow a successful business.
- High levels of self-motivation, self-management capability, adaptability, ease of handling multiple responsibilities in parallel.
