Job details

Basic Function Plan and coordinate transportation operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and materials.

  • Route Planning: Develop and optimize routes for transportation to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage schedules for drivers and vehicles.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to align transportation plans with overall operations.
  • Monitoring: Track and monitor transportation activities to ensure adherence to schedules and plans.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the transportation plan.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on transportation performance and metrics.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to provide updates and address any concerns.
Education And Qualification High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred. Professional Experience Previous experience in transportation planning or logistics is preferred. Skills And Attributes
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using transportation planning software and other relevant tools.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Ability to maintain positive relationships with customers and handle inquiries effectively.
Hours/Shift Work As per contract and as per company operation requirement. Conditions This Job description is subject to periodic review and may be changed at any time by the authorized personnel.
