Job Purpose:
This role will support QNB's international growth strategy by leading a team effort to identify acquisition objectives in targeted markets. The M&A team will steer these targets through the acquisition process, with collaboration from Senior Management and various functions.Key Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
- At least 18 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA is advantageous.
- Minimum 10-15 years' experience in M&A, specifically on the buy side.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (desired).
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
- Knowledge of financial reporting processes and related pronouncements, including IFRS and IAS.
- Well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver under pressure and build relationships across the organization.
