About The Role You will be responsible to deliver Aircraft Maintenance services to support the operational requirements as directed by your supervisor. To ensure all maintenance and related activities are performed in accordance with the company/customer procedures and supplied aircraft maintenance data. Some Of The Tasks Include
- Conduct tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft systems, using hand tools, gauges and test equipment.
- Examine and inspect engines or other components for cracks, breaks or leaks.
- Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping or other defects.
- Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
- Service, clean screens, grease moving parts and check brakes.
- Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging and hydraulic units.
- Test engine and system operations, using testing equipment and listen to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.
- Remove engine from aircraft and install engine using hoist or forklift truck.
- Modify aircraft structures, space vehicles, systems or components following drawings, engineering orders and technical publications.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Implement technical solutions for various technical problems related to technical line maintenance.
- Perform other department duties related to your position as directed by the Head of the Department.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Practical experience in the technical field within a similar work area
- Knowledge of Heavy Cabin & IFE maintenance fundamentals and relative skills to your area of employment
- Ability to perform maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
- Repair machines or systems using the needed tools.
- Control operations of equipment or systems.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required
- Ability to communicate in a multicultural environment
- Good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
