They are seeking a VP, Head of Digital Assets to lead the product and commercial strategies for their flagship platform, driving the development of a comprehensive digital financial market infrastructure across Asia. The position is based in Singapore and reports directly to the CEO. The role... Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a strategic plan for the digital asset unit, ensuring it aligns with the company’s overall goals. Market Analysis: Identify and evaluate opportunities in funds, credit, structured products, and other real-world assets to capture new business and enhance existing relationships. Revenue and Growth Management: Drive revenue growth and oversee the unit’s P&L. Manage resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with banks, asset managers, and financial market infrastructure entities to support business growth. Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with commercial leads to build and sustain strong relationships with key institutional clients. Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, focusing on both product and commercial objectives to ensure their development and success. Performance Management: Set and monitor performance targets to ensure they align with the business strategy. Reporting and Communication: Serve as the primary spokesperson for the unit, providing performance updates and insights to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders. Minimum Requirements: 15+ years working in a product or commercial role at fintech/platform, bank, asset management or financial intermediary with direct experience in digital assets in production (i.e. smart contracts, ledger technologies) Proven experience in a management role working with cross-functional teams (especially technology) Track record of leading teams and achieving profitability in new businesses Good understanding of digital asset landscape (i.e. smart contracts, ledger technologies) and at least one of fixed income, structured products or funds Strong senior partnerships within financial institutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment ***33 Talent is your integrated HR partner providing bespoke recruitment, HR consultancy, and coaching services into digital, data, and communications across APAC and the rest of the world.
