As a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional, you will be responsible for leading our HSE initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving a safety culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards in line with Company HSE policy and objectives.
  2. Provide guidance and support to project teams on HSE matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  3. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  4. Conduct regular site visits to monitor HSE performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for remedial action.
  5. Lead and participate in incident investigations, providing expert analysis and recommendations for preventing similar incidents in the future.
  6. Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, including incident reports, near-miss reports, and hazard logs.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, maintenance, and procurement, to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into business decisions.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree or equivalent in HSE, Risk Assessment, Environment, or a related field.
  2. At least 15 years of experience in HSE, with a minimum of 10 years in projects.
  3. Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective HSE programs, including training, auditing, and reporting.
  4. Familiarity with major oil and gas standards and best practices, particularly in Asian Construction Yards.
  5. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
  6. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.

Accountabilities:

  1. Demonstrate exemplary behavior with regard to HSE rules & requirements.
  2. Implement MP defined HSE rules within his area of responsibility.
  3. Understand, develop, and promote HSE policy, Safety Culture, and Objectives (Incident Free, 10 Golden rules, etc.).
  4. Provide support and expertise to ongoing projects for achieving their HSE performance in line with Company HSE policy and objectives.
  5. Liaise and assist MP Construction HSE Lead in the realization of the Major Projects HSE objectives.
  6. Assist MP Construction HSE Lead in daily activities and perform tasks as per schedule and expectations.
  7. Highlight and alert MP Construction HSE Lead about identified CONTRACTOR deviations from HSE objectives.
