FlFlyAkeed is an online platform that helps people book flights and hotels easily. We started in 2017 and are based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our travel solution simplifies the process of planning and handling work-related travel. Highlights: Current funding stage: Series A FlyAkeed is supported by: PIF subsidiary Sanabil Investments, Elm, Artal Capital, Alrajhi Partners. As an AP Accountant you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. You will play a critical role in maintaining vendor relationships, managing invoice processing, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and has a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including receiving, reviewing, and coding invoices
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and reconcile any discrepancies
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment processing
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and manage vendor relationships
  • Assist in month-end closing and reconciliation
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related role
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and principles
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
