Lab Technician

Founded in 1996, Huabao Flavours & Fragrances Co., Ltd. is the largest Flavour & Fragrance house in China, engaged in the research & development, production, sales and services of tobacco flavors, food flavours, fragrances and food ingredients. Our company in Singapore - Huabao Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Assist flavorist in organizing and cataloging flavor raw materials. Prepare simple flavor formulations by blending flavor base ingredients. Collaborate with flavorist to perform sensory evaluations of flavor samples. Operate and maintain routine laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Assist with laboratory documentation, including recording experiment results, observations, and inventory management. Support the team in carrying out any other tasks required in the flavor development process. Communicate smoothly with the China headquarters to ensure accurate and efficient information exchange. Qualifications and Skills: 2 years experiences in the flavor or food industry, familiarity with GC-MS instrumentation and software is preferred. Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and flavor raw materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Fluent in Chinese, need to communicate effectively with the China headquarters. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. Familiarity with laboratory safety and hygiene standards.
