You will be working as an Archives Reading Room Intern under the National Archives of Singapore (NAS). [What you will be working on] Conduct historical research to contribute to NAS social media content and research guides. Creation of guides and finding aids to assist in making NAS records accessible. Carry out daily operations work with the Archives Reading Room team. [What we are looking for] Students from History related courses preferred, but general Arts/Humanities/Social Science background with keen interest in history and research are also welcomed. Good written communication skills and able to write in clear, standard English targeted to different audiences/needs. Interest in Singapore's history, and familiarity with historical research using both primary and secondary sources. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel & Word. Comfortable with customer service work and enjoys working with people of diverse backgrounds. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. Duration: min 8 weeks #J-18808-Ljbffr
