IT Executive (Infrastructure, Server, Network)

The Opportunity: Permanent Role Working Hours: Mon to Fri 830am to 530pm Working Location: West The Client: Adecco is partnering with a Luxury Retail client to seek an IT Executive who will be responsible for managing IT support and infrastructure for South East Asia, ensuring smooth operation of end-user devices, IT systems, and networks. The Job: Strong Knowledge of IT Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with L2 server infrastructure support, including managing servers, networking hardware, firewalls, and virtualization technologies. Comfortable working with various IT hardware (servers, routers, switches, firewalls) and software (Windows, MS O365, VMware, Hyper-V). Network and System Management: Expertise in network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, particularly with Cisco and Aruba equipment, as well as managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure. Firewall and Security Management: Practical knowledge of configuring and managing firewall policies (especially Check Point) to ensure network security. Cloud Technologies: Experience working with cloud services like Azure and AWS, particularly with configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure for scalability and security. Operating Systems & Virtualization: Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V. Microsoft 365: Hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Defender, Intune) and supporting cloud-based technologies. The Talent: 1 to 3 years of hands-on IT experience, particularly in network and server management, and cloud infrastructure. Familiarity with the tools and technologies mentioned (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Check Point, VMware, AWS, Azure, MS O365). CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certifications, or any network-related certifications (e.g., Cisco certifications) will be an advantage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as the role involves collaborating with various teams and participating in IT projects.
