ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT JOB DESCRIPTION An Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting department by performing various clerical and administrative tasks. The role involves assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Key Responsibilities • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports • Maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy of financial data • Reconciling bank statements and accounts payable/receivable • Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting • Conducting basic accounting tasks such as journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations • Assisting with audit preparation and responding to audit queries • Providing administrative support to the accounting team as needed REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. More education or experience may be preferred. Special licenses or certification may be required. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills. Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes. PROVISIONS Medical insurance provided Salary: Negotiable
