Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Diagnostic Tester specializing in Motor Operated Valves (MOV) and Air Operated Valves (AOV) for nuclear facility maintenance and diagnostics. This role focuses on the troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration of MOV and AOV systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation.   Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and conduct corrective actions for MOV and AOV systems using manufacturer manuals (e.g., Rotork, Biffi, Dresser, Parcol, Velan, Emerson).
  • Perform refurbishment activities on MOV and AOV actuators and their accessories.
  • Acquire and analyze data from MOV and AOV systems using diagnostic tools such as Viper20/VOTES Infinity or similar.
  • Issue and revise maintenance procedures for electric and pneumatic valve actuators, including their accessories.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures for the diagnosis and calibration of electric and pneumatic actuators using Viper20 and VOTES Infinity.
  • Perform maintenance activities, including calibration and troubleshooting, for both preventive and corrective needs.
  • Provide interdepartmental support to the Engineering and Operations departments.
Industry Background:
  • Nuclear experience is essential.
  • Prior experience with outage activities is required.
Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of maintenance procedures, drawings, and manufacturers' specifications.
  • Competency in operating personal computers and wireless diagnostic tools.
Organizational Skills:
  • Ability to coordinate maintenance teams (EI&C) for the commissioning of systems and equipment.
  • Experience leading teams during preventive, predictive, or corrective maintenance activities.
Language Requirements:
  • A good level of English is essential.
