Sales Manager Leisure

Responsibilities:

1. Proactively manage a predetermined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum production to meet set target.
2. Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is done in a timely manner.
3. Proactively prospect new accounts for Sofitel The Palm Dubai and follow the sales process through to convert into producing accounts.
4. Take personal responsibility to ensure that all accounts are properly updated in the system and that the system is utilized to its full capacity.
5. Maintain up-to-date activity and rate information for each account.
6. Understand and be in a position to action any group and event enquiry and ensure accurate handover for follow up to Inspired Meeting team.
7. Communicate client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required, ensuring delivery of superior guest service.
8. Ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments and confirmation to client.
9. Ensure property rates sheets are accurate at all times.
10. Communicate any obstacles to completing action plans to Director of Sales Leisure.
11. Arrange and manage familiarization / educational trips in line with business needs.
12. Entertain clients and potential clients in hotel outlets to showcase our property and special Savoir Faire.

1. Min. 2 years in a similar role in the luxury hospitality industry.
2. Min. 2 years experience actively managing Tour Operator relationships within their respective markets.
3. Language skills: at least 2 or 3 other languages over and above English, preferably German, French, or Russian.
