Join a government-linked organization as part of the Procurement team, where you'll play a key role in driving efficient sourcing, vendor management, and strategic purchasing to support organizational goals and operational excellence. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with procurement policies, maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes, and provide guidance to stakeholders on procurement procedures. Manage assigned procurement categories by understanding business needs and driving category-specific strategies. Handle vendor sourcing, ITQ/tender processes, bid evaluations, negotiations, purchase order issuance, and payment facilitation. Oversee vendor performance, negotiate contract terms, monitor contract renewals, and maintain an organized contract database. Evaluate cost-saving opportunities, assess vendor proposals, and ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are achieved. Prepare management reports, follow up on deliveries, and address any discrepancies efficiently. Requirements Diploma or Degree in any discipline with at least 5 years of procurement experience; category management experience is advantageous. Proficient in vendor sourcing with a focus on pricing, delivery, and capabilities, as well as sound knowledge of contract terms and conditions. Skilled in vendor negotiations and contract formulation, with attention to detail and accuracy in numbers. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and KPIs. Adaptable to business needs with a proactive approach to acquiring category or product knowledge through stakeholder engagement. Demonstrates a strategic mindset, takes ownership of tasks, and upholds integrity and professionalism.
