Field Service Specialist (Electromechanical) The Electromechanical Specialist reports directly to the Service Manager and has responsibilities for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the woodworking machines for customers. Responsibilities Provide technical after-sales support to external and internal customers as required by the company. Carry out on-site work as requested, including supervision of machinery installation and commissioning, and executing customer training. Perform after-sales service tasks such as maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer training. Manage upgrading projects of existing production lines. Respond to on-call and emergency support cases, either remotely or by visiting customer sites. Support the sales teams on technical matters. Coordinate service and capital expenditure delivery projects between Raute's delivery units and customers. Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) as needed. Contribute to product and service product development. Support spare part and maintenance sales, and coordinate service work planning and scheduling. Maintain active communication with customers. Follow safety rules and practices set by the company and the site rules set by the customer. Perform all duties assigned. Quick Facts Field Service Specialist (Electromechanical), Full-Time Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and/or Mechatronic Engineering Hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting of industrial machinery with PLC/PC controls and adjustable-speed drives Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Proficient in CAD or similar designing applications Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering background Chinese (Verbal & Written) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Well-organized and detail-oriented Customer-oriented, sales-driven, proactive, and able to work independently Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment, work well under pressure, and identify workload priorities Strong interpersonal qualities, including leadership, teamwork, integrity, and respect Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to manage own work and teams at customer sites What We Would Also Like From You Knowledge in PLC and PC-based control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Omron) is an advantage A proven track record in mechanical engineering in plywood or other wood processing industries would be an advantage Malay/Bahasa Indonesia as a working language is an added advantage Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Mechatronic Engineering Hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting of industrial machinery with PLC/PC controls and adjustable-speed drives Knowledge in PLC and PC-based control systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Omron) is an advantage A proven track record in mechanical engineering in plywood or other wood processing industries would be an advantage Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in English and Chinese.
