Overview: Our client specialises in Business Intelligence SaaS solutions. On the back of a recent acquisition they are going through an exiting scale up phase. As part of this growth they are looking for a Business Development Representative to join their expanding sales team. The Role: As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in the growth strategy by prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities within the SMB and Mid-Market space. You will work closely with the sales team to build and nurture relationships with finance departments in target companies, helping them recognise the value of the company’s Business Intelligence solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the SMB and Mid-Market sectors, targeting finance decision-makers and influencers.
  • Utilise a combination of outbound calls, emails, and social selling strategies to generate interest and set meetings with key stakeholders in prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop tailored messaging and sales materials that resonate with finance professionals.
  • Build relationships with prospects by providing valuable insights into how the software solutions can optimise budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of prospect interactions, ensuring timely follow-ups and efficient lead progression.
  • Meet or exceed lead generation and qualification quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, Business Intelligence software, ERP software, or experience selling into C-level finance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with finance professionals and C-suite executives.
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset and a passion for achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Details:
  • Base salary up to £40,000 – OTE of £65,000
  • Permanent position
  • Hybrid - 3 onsite 2 offsite
  • Offices in Bracknell
