Laboratory Manager

Hobson Prior is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee the daily activities of modern teaching labs in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the creative spaces for design. This role requires a focus on safety, team coordination, and resource management. Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location. Responsibilities:

• Manage the operations of teaching labs and creative spaces.
• Ensure safety standards are met in all lab activities.
• Coordinate and support a team of technicians.
• Handle budgeting, resources, and purchasing for the labs.
• Work onsite in Central London with occasional travel to the US.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Familiarity with safety standards in labs.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Relevant safety certifications are a plus.
