Job details

Add expected salary to your profile for insights. Leverage the untapped family law network of a national firm. Set the cultural tone and direction of a new practice. Full-service, national law firm. This is a full-service national law firm in the Brisbane CBD with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. They have 10+ Family Lawyers in Melbourne who focus on more complex financial and property settlements (typically with asset pools $5m). There is a strong base of HNW clients in Brisbane, and the Melbourne team is currently servicing all the Family Law files. We are looking to leverage this opportunity by bringing on a Family Law Partner who can take over the existing files and client base, drive the progression of the practice, and set the cultural tone. The Managing Partner for QLD is incredibly well-networked in Brisbane and is a significant source of referrals to the Family practice. Until now, those Brisbane files have been handled by the interstate Family team. The plan is to introduce you to these referrers in order to leverage and drive the progression of a fully-fledged practice locally. With no Partner above you in Brisbane, you can maximize your ability to bring in work through leveraging the untapped family law network the firm will provide. The National Head of Family Law was recently a Finalist in the Partner of the Year Awards and will provide a great level of support in ‘practice management’ aspects of managing clients, delegating work, and running the practice. This is a fantastic offering for an established Family Law Partner who wants to tap a new referral base and have autonomy in setting the growth and direction of this new Family Law practice in Brisbane. #J-18808-Ljbffr
