- As a Technical Manager, Process Systems Engineering, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical management for process design activities for a new build Nuclear Power Plant project within a matrix organization.
- Managing individuals and teams executing commercial and internal work packages throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of the project.
- Approving technical documents.
- Planning and executing work consistent with quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Removing barriers that would impact deliverables to meet project requirements and priorities, working with assigned staff to find optimal solutions.
- Participating in the preparation of commercial proposals.
- Forecasting resource demands for the assigned work scope, including skills and capabilities.
- Interfacing with customers and successfully delivering engineering products in accordance with specifications, and contract requirements.
- Building positive customer relationships.

- The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, or eligible to obtain such registration within six (6) months of hiring.
- Ten (10) years of process systems design experience in heavy industries (Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Mining & Metals), including experience leading technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing staff in a unionized work environment.
- Five (5) years of CANDU technology experience is an asset.
- Experience working in a nuclear facility licensed in Canada is an asset.
- Thorough knowledge of all relevant ASME and CSA Codes and Standards.
- Experience managing and/or performing multi-discipline work, with significant interfacing requirements, including licensing, safety analysis, civil / structural, electrical, and instrumentation & controls.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Security clearance is a condition of employment.
- Willingness to travel to, and potentially work at project sites to meet company needs.
