Job Description

  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; and estimating clients' needs.
  • Study and analyze RFP/TOR to stand on Client/Project needs and requirements
  • Preparation of Technical & Financial Proposals to meet Clients’ needs and to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner through the following:
    • Prepare Scope of Work for technical proposals with the support of the Technical Manager of all engineering departments in light of the provisions of the RFP/TOR. 
    • Determine inputs for contract pricing and prepare methodology/plans of approach.
    • Prepare / Guide the preparation of the proposals time schedules for inclusion in the Technical Proposal.
    • Preparing financial estimation sheets and supporting the management in consultancy fees compilation process.
    • Coordinate with different sub-consultants and seek their offers for any missing services.
    • Responsible for producing the final technical and financial proposal.
  • Guide, direct and coordinate the proposal preparation procedures. Review and appraise its operation for effectiveness, efficiency, economy and conformance to the established Company manuals.
  • Attends pre-bid meetings with clients and familiarization visits to sites as required.
  • Assists in establishing manpower requirements necessary to execute the Scope of Work with the assistance of the Technical Manager of all engineering departments.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials.
  • Establish a production schedule and resource plan to ensure all required proposal documents are produced properly and delivered on time. This may include working with internal departments (like legal, taxes, graphics designs..etc), internal business units (for specific technical input), external partners and subs (to share the risk or fill in any gaps in our capabilities),
  • Develop new opportunities and screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

Job Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 2 to 4 Years in the field of Business Development/Tendering 
  • Education: B.Sc. of Engineering (preferably Architecture or Civil major)
