Job Description
- Manage financial aspects of construction projects, including budgets, cost tracking, and expense allocation.
- Prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure accurate recording of project-related transactions in the accounting system.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable related to construction projects.
- Reconcile project costs with financial statements and prepare detailed cost reports.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure budgets are adhered to and financial risks are minimized.
- Monitor compliance with financial and tax regulations related to construction activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction accounting or project cost management.
- Proficiency in construction accounting software.
- Strong understanding of project accounting principles and cost allocation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
