Work content / requirements: Capturing of digital invoices and bills Processing automated bank feeds Reconcile interim, interco, salary control and VAT and control accounts Capture monthly payroll ledgers and tax returns Assist with preparation of income tax schedules, computing of taxable income Assist with verifications of returns and supporting documents Supervising new employees and training them Participating to professional development proposed by the employer Reporting, updating and co-operating with the direct supervisor Phoning SARS, preparation of correspondence (clients, general stakeholders) Time management skills required Accounting systems SA accounting software (XERO) German accounting software (HMD, DATEV) Clients processed remotely: German and Youth African based Remote working via VPN Companies & Sole proprietors, small to medium size private entities Roughly. 35 client-portfilios processed treated per accountant Underlying GAAP : SA, German, IFRS, Income Tax, VAT Tax frame : German & SA income tax, VAT Language English Afrikaans (useful) German (desired) Workplace Independent but inhouse in shared office with approx. 8 colleagues.
