Sensory Panel Manager (Cork, Ireland)

Job Description As a Panel Manager/Coordinator, you will be working onsite at our client’s R&D facility in Cork, Ireland. As the first point of contact for our client’s R&D team, you will be responsible for panel, project and lab management. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling of all panels, ensuring a minimum turn-around time of sample results.
- Panel recruitment, training, performance & maintenance.
- Creating project research plans including proposed methodologies.
- Signing off technician’s reports and preparing more complex data set/method reports.
- Collaborating with the client’s sensory team on final interpretation/recommendation/report requirements.
- Coaching & development of panel leaders/technicians, helping them to advance and expand their capabilities.
- Implementing new sensory methods (including training for technicians).
- Ensuring that our client’s Quality Management System requirements are adhered to.
- Ensuring that panelists stay motivated through performance feedback.
- Leading initiatives for efficiency and sustainability through participating in the Green Lab Certification process.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Sensory-related study program.
- Deep knowledge of sensory approach and statistics applied to sensory.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Confident communicator in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and sensory software.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and intercultural environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Open-minded, easy to connect, and creative mindset.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changes in real-time and meet timelines.
- Agile mindset and problem-solving attitude.
