Warehouse/Logistics Operation Manager (Semiconductor warehouse)

Benefits Summary: Operation Manager Permanent role Basic up to $9,000 + AWS + VB Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM to 5.30 PM Location: Woodlands Responsibilities: Lead and guide staff in daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of overall operations. Plan staffing levels, equipment, storage, and daily tasks to ensure that adequate resources are available to meet customer requirements consistently. Plan and ensure the availability of necessary equipment for storage, loading, and delivery of goods. Manage inventory, monitor productivity, ensure accuracy, and implement loss prevention programs to meet customer requirements. Plan and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the assigned account, ensuring on-time deliveries. Direct activities to reduce costs, improve accuracy and safety, and maintain a high level of customer service. Implement safety, security, housekeeping, and sanitation programs within the operations. Generate monthly performance reports to ensure customer requirements are consistently met. Implement work improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, LEAN, and SCA programs to achieve company standards of Operational Excellence. Monitor employee and team performance, providing coaching, training, and feedback to enhance productivity. Collaborate with various departments to ensure operations align with organizational goals and objectives. Oversee staffing plans and manage the hiring, training, and development of new employees. Work closely with the management team to optimize warehousing and logistics operations. Manage people and warehouse resources to deliver efficient services to customers, with a strong focus on people management. Prepare materials and conduct operational review meetings (e.g., Monthly, Quarterly, and Improvement Reviews) with internal and external stakeholders. Resolve logistics service failures in coordination with customers and the operational team, using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis and solutions. Ensure strong inventory management and maintain a proven record of 100% accuracy through daily cycle counts. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to deliver excellent customer experiences. Enforce process compliance and ensure operations meet customer expectations and KPIs. Take accountability for maintaining high-quality PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance). Lead and drive annual Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) commitments. Conduct regular Gemba walks with clients in the warehouse to observe operations and identify areas for improvement. Hold weekly quality meetings with clients to review performance metrics using scorecards. Participate in meetings with key customer stakeholders, including Purchasing and Planning departments, to align on objectives and strategies. Additional Information: At least 5 years of relevant working experience and experience in managing and leading operations team. In-plant logistics experience will be an advantage. Computer proficiency. Excellent leadership and supervisory skills. Experience with customer dealing at all levels. Good planning, communication, and people skills.
