This role is responsible for leading key projects and programs in support of manufacturing logistics operation and automation journey. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively partner with the Logistics team and cross-functional stakeholders consisting of representatives from operations, engineering, manufacturing, legal, finance, IT, and other internal/external organizations. Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, and appropriate processes for accomplishing projects. Clearly communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans, and impacts to senior management and internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Steer teams based on business objectives, continuously align teams to those objectives in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines. Key attributes to ensure success in this role include being able to effectively work with Logistics Subject Matter Experts and IT Functional Analysts to develop and implement logistics systems, processes, and procedures. The successful individual will have logistics system and process knowledge, excellent communication and project management skills, and demonstrated ability to influence executive-level decisions. Key Responsibilities Analyzing current business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Developing and implementing optimized processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with stakeholders to design and execute process improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented process changes, measuring key performance indicators, and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and process improvement methodologies. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of project management in logistics, supply chain management, or relevant technical/analytical discipline. Hands-on project manager who has led global projects consisting of cross-functional teams across multiple businesses. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience in complete project life cycle to implementation. Good knowledge of how logistics services businesses work and latest trends (including digital & automation) impacting the industry. Demonstrated ability to liaise between Business and IT on project requirements, design, testing, and deployment. Proven experience in project delivery in transformation area, with the ability to handle tight deadlines and deliver under pressure, ensuring quality and standards are maintained across the region. Highly motivated and independent individual with little guidance. Strong communication skills and report writing. Experience in risk management and financial planning will be an added advantage. Comfortable working in an unstructured, cross-division, and multi-stakeholder environment. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification will be an added advantage. Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc. Adept with SAP system will be an added advantage. Education Bachelor’s degree in supply chain & logistics, industrial engineering.
