Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Regional Manager (APAC/S. Asia) to join our Account team. The HSSE Regional Manager will work as part of a global team, supporting their designated region and account goals. 20% international travel is required. Global Requirements Support and deploy HSSE training according to the training matrix and account needs, upload any training completed live, create reports and tracking dashboards, and conduct regular follow-ups with line managers. Assist with the implementation of the account Good Catch program, goals, and use Azara to develop client-facing dashboards. Responsible for ensuring all contractor hours, in all regions, are uploaded monthly to CMO. Support Account HSSE KPI completion, assist with dashboards and tracking. Ensure all regulatory visits are included in CMO, monitor for any follow-up, and ensure regulatory reporting resulting from inspections or incidents is documented. Use account-specific tools to support program implementation. Assist with maintaining the HSSE account portal. Support the team in rolling out new compliance and best management practices programs across the account. Regional Requirements Serve as regional O.T.S.T. 2-Hour workshop trainer. Assist in investigating medium severity and greater regional events/incidents. Participate with operating sites as needed to lead or support investigations of HSSE events, analyze root causes, support/track the implementation of effective corrective actions, and prepare communications to share the lessons learned from such events across the account operations. Become the primary point of contact for HSSE requirements and activities for the account covering the designated region for the client account. Communicate HSSE needs and results to the Regional Account Leadership Team. Track and present HSSE performance to the Account Leadership Team and client. Maintain documentation describing the HSSE program (playbooks, procedures, etc.) and records required by JLL, regulation, and the client. Support the creation of and maintain Site Risk Assessments for all regional account locations. Create and maintain a regulatory compliance register for each account location. Play a lead role in the continued development and refinement of JLL’s HSSE culture and training programs for the region. Ensure that accidents, injuries, near misses/good catches, and other events are captured, and the data is managed and reported. Manage incident recordkeeping requirements and hours recording requirements for contracts per JLL procedure. Also, be the Account’s Administrator for the JLL CMO Incident Management System. Assist in the assurance of compliance with all HSSE Sections of the JLL Client Assurance Program (JCAP). Support environmental compliance efforts as specified in the JLL/client Master Service Agreement (MSA)/Statement of Work (SOW). Qualifications Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, with professional-level writing skills. Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field (degree may be waived if >7 years’ experience or hold HSSE professional certification). 2+ years of JLL experience. Relevant professional certification(s) are a plus. Proven record of success with project management skills for balancing multi-site activities. Broad-based knowledge of Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health regulations. Good verbal and written communication skills. A proven record of making presentations and providing effective training. Ability to effectively and cooperatively interface with peers, colleagues, and clients. Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and ability to employ intelligent flexibility.
