About FlyAkeed: FlyAkeed is an online platform that helps people book flights and hotels easily. We started in 2017 and are based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our travel solution simplifies the process of planning and handling work-related travel. We are currently seeking a People Operations Lead to support our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring each employee has a seamless experience
  2. Oversee employee benefits programs including medical insurance, ensuring effective communication and administration
  3. Manage the processing of financial claims related to health benefits, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  4. Maintain up-to-date employee records while ensuring privacy and data security
  5. Coordinate attendance management, leave requests, and holiday schedules
  6. Ensure compliance with governmental regulations including GOSI and maintain records for reporting purposes
  7. Drive initiatives for employee engagement and performance management initiatives

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  2. At least 4-6 years of experience in HR, with a focus on people operations
  3. Strong understanding of HR best practices and legal compliance in Saudi Arabia
  4. Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
  6. Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
  7. Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software/tools
  8. Proactive approach towards problem-solving and capability to work independently
  9. A genuine interest in promoting a supportive and engaging work environment
