Job Description The Chemical Engineering Department at KFUPM is actively looking to hire faculty at all professorial ranks, in the following areas:

  1. Desalination
  2. Nanotechnology
  3. Membrane Science & Technology
  4. Polymer
  5. Artificial Intelligence in Chemical Engineering
  6. Process Safety
  7. Renewable Energy
  8. Energy Storage
  9. Corrosion
The Chemical Engineering Department at KFUPM is one of the leading departments in the region with more than 1000 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. It offers a high-quality teaching and research environment with state-of-the-art lab facilities. There are several research funding agencies which offer generous research grants and compensations. The university also supports attendance at 2-3 international conferences.

Job Responsibility

Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise and mentor students, supervise MS and PhD thesis/dissertation, and develop funded research programs appropriate to their field of specialization. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction.

  • Two-year renewable contract.

Qualifications

Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. from a reputable institution, a strong record of published research, experience in supervising research of graduate students, relevant teaching experience at the university level, and have teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
