Position Summary: The Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Specialist and Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions. This role demands technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of business processes to optimize ERP systems and enhance organizational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Design and Development:
    • Design and develop customizations, extensions, integrations, and workflows within Dynamics 365 F&O.
    • Create and optimize reports using SSRS, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
    • Develop technical solutions using X++, .NET, and SQL.
  2. System Implementation and Configuration:
    • Configure D365 F&O modules to align with business requirements.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze needs and deliver optimal solutions.
    • Support data migration, system upgrades, and new module rollouts.
  3. Integration and API Development:
    • Develop and manage integrations between D365 F&O and third-party applications using Azure Logic Apps, REST APIs, and other tools.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct unit, system, and performance testing to ensure system stability.
    • Identify, document, and resolve bugs and performance issues.
  5. Support and Maintenance:
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for D365 F&O users.
    • Monitor system performance and apply necessary enhancements.
  6. Training and Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and FAQs.
    • Deliver training and support to end-users and IT teams.
  7. Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure system compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement security best practices and data protection measures.
    • Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers.
    • Coordinate with Microsoft support and third-party vendors for advanced troubleshooting.
Qualifications: Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Dynamics 365 F&O or AX 2012 in a developer or technical consultant role.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in X++, .NET, SQL, and Azure technologies.
  • Experience with D365 F&O modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources).
  • Knowledge of integration frameworks, APIs, and data migration tools.
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes, version control, and ALM tools.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate.
