IT System Administrator In the system administrator role, you will perform a variety of tasks essential to the company’s IT operations. Crucial elements of this position include daily management of server loads, installation of required applications to meet network requirements, conducting server health check-ups, and troubleshooting system errors. Success in this role will be exhibited by ensuring security, efficiency, and sustainability of the organization’s IT infrastructure. Resourcefulness is essential for this role, as you should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and have the patience to communicate with various interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and configuration of Windows servers, AD, DNS, and DHCP.
  2. Install, configure, and administer Symantec endpoint protection, server, and client.
  3. Install, configure, and administer Symantec backup.
  4. Configuration and administration of Microsoft Exchange Online with Microsoft 365.
  5. Administration of Microsoft Exchange Server.
  6. Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and perform tuning.
  7. Troubleshoot system hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
  8. Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer operating systems.
  9. Apply server and operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes and document the configuration changes.
  10. Responsible for disaster recovery, closing security loopholes, and managing access levels.
  11. Manage Azure identities and governance.
  12. Implement and manage Azure storage with advanced management.
  13. Design and implement Microsoft 365 services, manage user identity and roles, manage access and authentication, plan Office 365 workload and applications.
  14. Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
Requirements and Skills:
  1. Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
  2. Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  3. ERP and POS experience is a must.
  4. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  5. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. BSc/BA in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  8. Professional certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate.
  9. Willingness to update skills and certifications as required.
