Alkonabe Wooden Manufactory Co Ltd is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cutting List Specialist to join our team. Job Purpose: To prepare and organize cutting lists based on engineering drawings, ensuring accurate and efficient production while improving material usage and reducing waste. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting List Preparation: Prepare cutting lists according to engineering plans and detailed drawings.
  • Drawing Analysis: Read and analyze engineering drawings to determine required dimensions and materials.
  • Production Coordination: Coordinate with production teams to ensure correct implementation of cutting lists.
  • Material Optimization: Optimize material use and reduce waste in the production process.
  • Database Management: Manage and update the cutting list database using CAD software.
  • Purchasing Collaboration: Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure material availability.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that final cuts meet the required quality standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on completed tasks and data analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Improve work processes based on feedback and performance data.
  • Industry Trends: Follow up on recent developments in cutting list preparation techniques and materials.
  • System Management: Ensure all work-related transactions and procedures are accurately entered into the Odoo system.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail required.
  • Work with engineering design software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Additional hours may be required to ensure timely availability of drawings.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in preparing cutting lists or manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in using design software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Drawing Analysis: Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Arabic (good) and English (advanced).
  • Communication: Strong communication and coordination skills.
