Job details

Linking Humans, a specialist ServiceNow recruitment agency, is partnering with a dynamic organization to find a talented ServiceNow ITAM Specialist to join their client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions within ServiceNow. You will work closely with various teams to optimize asset management processes and improve service visibility, ensuring smooth IT operations and infrastructure management. Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement ServiceNow ITAM solutions.
  2. Lead ITAM-ITOM integration efforts to create cohesive workflows that enhance asset management and operational processes.
  3. Configure and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring accurate data for ITAM functionality.
  4. Collaborate with IT and business teams to deploy ITAM, supporting overall business objectives.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ITAM within the ServiceNow platform.
  6. Provide expert guidance on ITAM best practices to improve automation and optimization.
  7. Support platform upgrades and enhancements, ensuring the continued efficiency and performance of the ServiceNow ITAM module.
  8. Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and user training materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM solutions.
  3. Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
  4. Proven experience managing CMDB with a focus on data integrity and operational efficiency.
  5. Familiarity with cloud infrastructures such as AWS or Azure and cloud-based monitoring tools.
  6. Expertise in automation and orchestration tools within ServiceNow.
  7. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. ServiceNow certifications in ITAM are highly desirable.
  9. Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.
  10. Experience with third-party integrations to ServiceNow, such as monitoring tools or CMDB synchronization.
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
