Position Summary The Admin cum Admission Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery's administrative functions while managing the admission process. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual who can effectively handle administrative tasks and support parents through the admission journey. Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of staff, students, and daily nursery operations.
    • Oversee front-desk activities, including answering calls, managing inquiries, and greeting visitors.
    • Manage nursery emails, correspondence, and calendars for meetings or events.
    • Ensure compliance with nursery policies and regulations (e.g., student privacy and CCTV guidelines).
    • Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring all nursery supplies are adequately stocked.
    • Handle transportation coordination for the two-way bus service.
  2. Admissions Process:
    • Act as the primary contact for prospective parents, guiding them through the admission process.
    • Schedule and conduct tours of the nursery for interested families.
    • Provide detailed information on the nursery’s programs, policies, and fee structures.
    • Process admission applications, ensure required documentation is submitted, and maintain accurate records.
    • Coordinate orientation programs for newly enrolled families.
  3. Communication and Customer Support:
    • Address parent inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
    • Facilitate communication between parents, staff, and management as needed.
    • Assist in distributing newsletters, circulars, and event updates.
  4. Event and Facility Management:
    • Support the organization of nursery events and activities.
    • Ensure the facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
    • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for any required maintenance or services.
  5. Reporting and Compliance:
    • Prepare periodic reports on admissions, attendance, and administrative functions for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulatory bodies such as SPEA and KHDA, if applicable.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administration and admissions, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with nursery or early childhood education policies is a plus.
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., English and Arabic) are advantageous.
