CLIENT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Shares documents, schedules and field updates. Participates in client conversations, contributing to at least basic presentations of documents and research findings with a gradual increase throughout development in role. Engages in broader team conversations that proactively link past research/ upcoming proposal opportunities to the current research. ROLE SUMMARY

  1. Focuses on executional excellence, while growing both internal and client partnership skills
  2. Understands the project lifecycle for custom research and manages projects start-to-finish with exceptional proficiency, with some supervision
  3. Comfortable interacting with clients on execution-focused tasks and contributing to presentations for basic results
  4. Material development for proposals as requested
  5. Participates in thinking through methodological considerations and recommendations as part of a larger account team
  6. Oversees project level support, delegating work, providing instructions and quality control
  7. Involved in analytic plans, and aspects of report writing to find the story in the data
PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Key execution activities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Custom survey development
  2. Link checking
  3. Fieldwork monitoring
  4. Data processing and analysis planning
  5. Report visualization and story-telling guidance
  6. Report population and development
  7. Overseeing role of Analyst on these tasks, where both may play a role
  8. Tasks performed under supervision of manager/senior team members.
STRATEGIC THINKING EXPECTATIONS Some strategic thinking expected, with a focus on developing analytical skills, but should observe more senior team members’ client interactions (the actions that the Ipsos team is doing as part of client service/account management), decision-making and broader vision. Proactively seeks out industry information related to clients' needs, i.e., some level of self-education to learn more about clients so you can anticipate needs. SKILL SET REQUIRED
  1. Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  2. Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness in completing all tasks
  3. Ability to positively interact with internal support teams
  4. Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  5. Data savvy with a basic knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools a plus
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation
  7. Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted project budgets and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget
  8. Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  9. Thrives within a team environment
  10. Excellent written & verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills
SUGGESTED EDUCATION
  1. Completed Bachelor’s Degree, master’s level education an asset
