Job details
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and record entries in the accounting system. Assist operations, admin & clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions related to accounts (Quotation, Billing, Invoicing & SOA). Record every financial transaction in the company in the relevant software. Manage income and expenditure accounts and handle petty cash. Complete analysis of employee expenditures vs income. Prepare and email updated statements of accounts, follow up on payments with customers weekly, and track unpaid invoices from B2B & B2C customers & SOA of vendors & business partners. Monitor the company’s cash flow. File and remit taxes, VAT, and other financial obligations. Reconcile the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers. Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company (Zoho, Tally & Waves). Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secure financial information by completing database backups. Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements. Update company accounting procedures by researching and interpreting best and latest accounting policies and updated regulations. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential. Assist the Finance Manager/General Manager in preparing balance sheets, SOA, project estimation, costing & pricing, etc. Assist auditors for finalization of financial statements. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, monthly profit and loss statements, and other daily and monthly reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr
