About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Laundry team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab- Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

To be responsible for the supervision of Laundry Attendants in the sorting of dirty linen to ensure that all the dirty rooms linen is put in the trolleys correctly and the F&B linen and chefs whites are counted and recorded correctly.
To be responsible for the control and checking of all linen and uniforms returned and to ensure that all quantities relate to the delivery notes.
To ensure that any variances on delivery notes from the laundry are recorded correctly.
To control and check quality and standard of work produced by the Laundry.
To be responsible for the quality and quantity control of all soft furnishings contracted out and to control all recorded quantity returned.
To be responsible for the issuing of all linen to all Departments and to ensure that all issues are correctly recorded.
To be responsible for the upkeep of all uniforms, Hotel linen and soft furnishings.
Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues.

About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Luxury Hotel.
Attention to details.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and by telephone.
