Director (Policy & Compliance) (Contractual)

• Master of Laws (LLM) degree, with a focus on Public Policy, Data Protection, or Regulatory Law is preferred
• Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC
• At least 10 years of experience in legal or policy roles, including team leadership
• Strong understanding of the working of the government and the various ministries
• Proven expertise in drafting policies, rules, and regulations
• Strong background in privacy and data protection compliance
• Certifications in Data Protection or Privacy Law (e.g. CIPP, CIPM) will be preferred
• Manage, lead and mentor a team of lawyers and policy professionals
• Lead the development of registration policies for persons, entities and establishment of databases
• Draft rules and regulations for government approval, ensuring accuracy and enforceability
• Design processes to implement policies and give effect to laws
• Implement compliance frameworks for privacy and data protection
• Monitor adherence to relevant laws and manage data protection risks
• Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance
• Collaborate with government agencies and regulators to secure policy approvals
• Represent the organization in high-level discussions and forums
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Stakeholder engagement and appreciation of the law-making processes
• In-depth knowledge of Pakistani laws related to registration and data protection

• Selected candidate will be hired initially for contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
• Management reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.

• Candidate shall be disqualified if false information is provided.
• 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in above age limit.
• Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
• Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.
• Attested educational documents from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/ respective regulatory body must be provided at the time of interview. In case of foreign degree, equivalency from HEC will also be submitted.
• Females, Minority, Transgenders and Differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches etc. will not be allowed during interview.
