Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all import activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
2. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate and secure import contracts, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
3. Coordinate with internal teams to track shipments, resolve any issues, and ensure smooth delivery of imported products.
4. Maintain accurate import records and documentation for audit purposes.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to optimize import processes and minimize costs.
6. Provide regular reports and updates on import activities to the management team.

Job Specification

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in import operations and customs clearance procedures.
2. Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs tariff, and documentation requirements.
3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and other stakeholders.
4. Proficient in using import software and tools to track shipments and manage documentation.
5. Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize import activities.
