This values-driven ‘for purpose’ organisation provides support services to people with disabilities of all ages; to ex-offenders looking to rehabilitate back into the community; and those who are homeless or disadvantaged in the local community. They are a fully accredited NDIS provider and have long term contracts in place for their other service offerings. The incoming CEO will also collaborate with the Board in developing their new strategic plan. The Position: Reporting to the Board, through the Chair, you will be responsible for achieving Pivot’s strategic objectives. This will include the ongoing development and first-class delivery of a suite of programs. Capitalising on the organisation’s excellent reputation, its established networks in the local community, as well as collaborating with an engaged Board, this is a genuine opportunity where you really can be a circuit breaker for the benefit of the people of the Great Southern region of WA. Your core duties will include: Operational and strategic leadership. Ensuring governance & compliance requirements are met. Stakeholder and partner management. Sector advocacy. Financial and risk management. Work, health and safety. About You: Significant relevant experience in a similar senior leadership role. An understanding of the requirements of disadvantaged groups and individuals in the community. Understanding, experience and ability to positively influence state and federal agencies, including writing grant and funding submissions. Vision, energy and a passion for excellent, values aligned outcomes. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. A proactive and empathetic leader. Demonstrated financial, commercial and corporate governance experience. Strategic and business planning skills. Please note that this role is to be residentially located in Albany, WA.
