About the Company Our client, a well-regarded law firm located in Downtown Toronto is currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant/Law Clerk to join their growing team! This role is primarily remote, and requires being in the office once a month. The ideal candidate will have experience in Commercial Litigation. Responsibilities
- Preparing and revising documents, scheduling meetings, opening and maintaining files and preparing correspondence
- Drafting and compiling pleadings, motions and Affidavit of Documents
- Reviewing and summarizing transcripts
- Drafting and preparing bill of costs
- Organizing and maintaining files using the firm's Document Management System
- Law Clerk diploma or ILCO Certification
- Strong knowledge of th e Rules of Civil Procedu re
- Minimum 3 years as a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk in Commercial Litigation
