Kompas is a Proptech startup based in Montreal, Canada and is looking to hire an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will work directly with the CEO in creating and executing internal processes for Customer Onboarding, Customer Support and Account Management. We are looking for an ambitious person who is ready to not only wear multiple hats, but also be a pivotal part in creating an amazing culture that will attract high level talent as we grow our team. Experience or exposure to real estate is an asset but not required. Below are a few of the departments that this Manager will be responsible for: Customer Onboarding:

  • Main point of contact with customers during their onboarding phase
  • This includes data migration, training, onboarding and documentation of any specific customizations needed for the client
  • Data migration: working with customer to understand their existing systems and data sources and help them prepare the necessary reports needed to migrate into Kompas
  • Onboarding: Discuss with customers their current business structure as it relates to team, accounting, leasing, operations, etc. and document the entire process.
  • Training: schedule in person or remote training for the various departments of a customer’s organization
  • Help build out internal procedures and onboarding playbook for Kompas team
Customer Support:
  • Handle all customer support tickets from our clients
  • Be the first responder to the support phone line and manage our support ticketing system by prioritizing tickets and assigning tickets to both CTO and CEO
  • Handle all technical support tickets from tenants using the software
  • Help build out internal procedures and customer support playbook for Kompas team
Account Management:
  • Be the link between product development and customers. Speak with customers to get feedback on desired features or improvements that can be made to the platform and communicate this with product team
  • Billings management – invoicing and collections for both SAAS fees and Transactional based fees
Employment Type: Full Time Employment Location: Hybrid work model with a minimum of 3 days per week in office located in Montreal (Cote-des-Neiges Area). Qualifications:
  • University bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of prior work experience
  • Bilingual – French and English (At least basic level French)
  • Experience in accounting is an asset
  • Experience in real estate is an asset
