The Connected Commerce Category & Insights Manager ANZ will play a critical role in driving our transformation to become a digital-first organization that drives organic growth. Reporting to the Connected Commerce Director, in a newly created ANZ e Commerce team, this senior role is responsible for integrating, analyzing, interpreting, and liberating the data related to the digital commerce touchpoints of pet parents/shoppers into actionable insights. In the role, you’ll use insights to develop an e Commerce channel strategy in services of business objectives in partnership with the sales team to deliver through retailer websites. What will be your key responsibilities? Vision & Strategy: Alongside the Connected Commerce Director ANZ, this role is responsible for leading the development and execution of the ANZ Connected Commerce strategy aligned to broader business goals which will be focused on driving sales performance through digital channels while delivering seamless digital experiences for pet parents and consumers in an omnichannel environment. Identify in year and 3 year milestones and KPIs to track progress against this strategy. ECommerce Acceleration through Insights & Partnerships: Drive customer-centric digital sales by identifying actionable insights that are executed in collaboration with the customer team through creating strategic partnerships with key retailers to drive both short and long term growth objectives. Understand current portfolio & promotional performance online and identify any key opportunities. Accelerate our engagement with key retailers through building a strategic partnership with key customers alongside the customer team to build ecommerce specific JBPs which should include a test & learn agenda. Utilize learnings from the global team, implementing best practice as well as championing to pilot new initiatives in the ANZ market. Digital Performance Dashboards: Implement global tools that aggregate digital commerce data and find the insights that will improve the Connected Commerce Pet Parent. Product owner & user (with support from the Performance Analyst) of performance tools will integrate retailer performance, financial performance, shopper data, digital shelf performance, retail media performance, supply data etc. Power Internal Connectivity: Demonstrate e Commerce expertise identifying trends and sharing knowledge, building credibility, and awareness internally and with key customers. Create strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders including senior management, marketing teams, local & global e Commerce, and sales teams. Mentor and coach your direct report who will be focused on the NZ market. Digital Pet Parent Journey: Build a deep understanding of the digital pet parent user journey, using data to evolve our approach. What are we looking for? 5+ years experience working in e Commerce roles focused on growth and acceleration, confident in growth levers and tactics outside of retail media. Experience in category insights, CPG, digital agency, or strategic consulting roles. Ability to translate business goals into effective Connected Commerce strategies that deliver on a seamless experience for pet parents and consumers. Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Experience assimilating extensive amounts of detailed data to see the big picture, providing actionable and influential recommendations to drive meaningful impact. Collaborate with retailer partners, using insights to influence and change strategy for evident improvement. Experience working in digital insights, with understanding of digital analytics tools and platforms, and familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
