As the first remote Aboriginal Medical Service in Western Australia, BRAMS provides culturally responsive, holistic health care and social and emotional wellbeing services to over 6,500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people each year. About the role This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position within our newly established Mental Health team. As theMental Health Lead Clinician , you’ll play a pivotal role in building and expanding this division at BRAMS. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll oversee Mental Health Aboriginal Health Practitioners and ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive Social and Emotional Wellbeing programs. You’ll also provide expert clinical social work services and consultation across BRAMS. About you We’re seeking an experienced and motivated professional ready to lead and grow a team. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: A tertiary qualification in Social Work (eligibility for Australian Association of Social Workers membership preferred). Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Experience in social work practice, particularly in Aboriginal communities or remote settings. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. A commitment to culturally responsive and person-centred care.
