100% Remote, Independent contractor agreement role for 2+ years Professional English is a must Please submit resume in English Paid monthly based on experience Must live in the Cebu City area We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with expertise in Power BI , Tableau , or Qlik , along with strong proficiency in Python , R , or other statistical data modeling tools. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions to turn complex data into actionable insights. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in data modeling and a background in the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities:
- BI Development and Visualization:
- Create, optimize, and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI , Tableau , or Qlik .
- Design user-friendly interfaces to effectively communicate insights and trends.
- Data Analysis and Statistical Modeling:
- Perform statistical data analysis and predictive modeling using Python , R , or similar tools.
- Develop algorithms and machine learning models to enhance forecasting and decision-making.
- Data Integration and ETL:
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or BI platforms.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all systems.
- Data Modeling and Optimization:
- Develop and maintain robust data models to support analytical and operational needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand logistics-specific data requirements and create tailored solutions.
- Logistics Data Insights:
- Build BI solutions focusing on key logistics and supply chain metrics, such as transportation, inventory, and warehouse performance.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and align BI solutions accordingly.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of BI tools and solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with emerging BI tools, statistical techniques, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data models, pipelines, and reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer with hands-on expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other statistical programming languages for data modeling and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline management.
- Experience in the logistics industry or working with supply chain data is highly desirable.
