1. Education – Masters in Communications or Masters in Journalism
2. Proven experience as a creative writer with 2-4 years of work experience – with an advertising or digital marketing agency background
3. Excellent written (American English) and verbal skills with the ability to tailor content to different audiences and media outlets
4. Knowledge of various types of marketing content and extensive experience in leading brand campaigns
5. Proficiency with all things social media (channels, platforms, best practices, metrics, etc.) and proficiency with social media marketing and management tools (such as Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.)
6. General/basic understanding of SEO
7. Proficient in translating technical products, solutions, and concepts to something creative, simple, and easy to understand for a wide variety of audiences
8. Possess a creative approach – in coming up with ideas for new projects and for getting messages across innovatively
