With DHL Global Forwarding, one of the world's top freight forwarders with competitive bespoke solutions, you'll be well-equipped to secure sales success. Air Freight new business Focussing on sales of DHL Global Forwarding’s Air Freight services you’ll be identifying new markets and customers, networking, generating new leads and cold calling. With a consultative sales approach, you’ll attend meetings to understand your customers’ needs, make recommendations, prepare proposals, conduct contract negotiations, and close new deals. Whilst this is a field-based role, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home, at our branches across your region and from customers’ offices. 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday Region: Leeds and Sheffield areas What we are looking for Passion and confidence in driving business growth, getting results and proven sales achievement within a freight forwarding environment are crucial for this position. You’ll have a strong network, contacts, and up-to-date knowledge of markets and industries across your region with potential freight forwarding needs. Essential knowledge and experience:
- Air Freight Forwarding
- New business and sales
- Lead generation
- Proactive and consultative sales
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK - Sponsorship is not offered for this position
- Full valid drivers licence
