Maintenance Technician based in Port Klang, Selangor
SMIS GROUP OF COMPANIES - AUTOMOTIVE DIVISION Looking for Technician, Maintenance (2 Vacants) Job Summary: Maintain machines and equipment in good working order including keeping accurate data on spare parts and machine maintenance. Key Responsibilities:- Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and routing monitoring for facilities equipment.
- Respond to all machine breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Be hands-on in service, repair, and maintenance of all machines and equipment.
- Keep proper service, repair, and maintenance records.
- Keep track of machine and equipment parts and prepare timely requests for re-orders.
- Provide technical information, support, and advice to related departments.
- Identify critical spare parts to manage and minimize machine breakdown time.
- Control/maintain spare parts, maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
- Daily operate production machines, tools, and equipment.
- Carry out inspection and repairing of equipment.
- Ensure production activities meet targeted quality, productivity, and specific standards.
- Complete special project work within deadlines.
- Support and carry out responsibilities assigned related to Safety, Health & Environment.

- 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.
